Deciding isn’t always easy, but Clipper knew exactly where to go for their new campaign, and it will continue to count on La Escalera de Fumío! The Canarian soft drink brand has committed once again to the good vibe spirit that sets it apart from its rival local lovemarks with its new advertising strategy: “Have a Clipper, and let them say what they want.”

Clipper has gone for a campaign that reaches out to teenage consumers and their carefree attitude; telling them that, sometimes, it’s okay ignore things, take a deep breath and do a little what we want, right? Advice without clichés and platitudes, but always listening carefully to your younger audience, especially one that has been raised on social media and streaming platforms.

That’s why, in 2019, the Canarian soft drink brand dived into hip-hop culture with the Canarian artist Juacko, who put together a track based on the brand’s new claim. With “let them say what they want!” on Spotify, Amazon Music, iTunes and YouTube, this leap into new, unchartered territory sends a clear, simple message, but one that very much ours: sometimes, we just have to break those barriers that stop us from having fun and enjoying life to the fullest.
